Zico Soccer Clinic at Disney Cup – July 8-10, 2010

While the best soccer players in the world will be in South Africa for the World Cup in July of 2010, the new generation of soccer players will be in Orlando – FL, improving their skills at Zico Soccer camp and Disney Cup International Youth Tournament.
Zico Soccer Clinic at Disney will target primary soccer TEAMS, especially the ones who will participate in the Disney Cup. The clinic will be held 3 days prior of Disney CUP International and the teams will be trained by the professional coaches from Zico Soccer Academy in Brazil, some of them former players, and with a high experience in elite soccer training.
The teams will have the opportunity to improve their skills and knowledge about Brazilian soccer and its way of playing and training, also they will prepare themselves for the tournament as well as for future competitions.

You can be part of the Zico Soccer Clinic by registering your team. The clinic will be for advanced players age 9 through 18, as well as coaches. The clinic will be held at Disney’s Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida from July 8th through the 10th of 2010.
Zico Soccer Clinic:
The clinic will be covering technical development, games program, goalkeeper training and many other areas of the games that will help you to achieve the next level.

Technical Development
- Ability with right and left foot (use both feet constantly)
– Willingness to improve strengths and weaknesses
– Defending 1 v1, 2 v 3 (decision making)
– Screening and turning
– Ball striking technique
– Crosses, shots and heading technique
– Quick finishing 1 or 2 touches
Games Program
- Encourage players to take on opponents
– When to pass and when to dribble
– Encourage players to interchange positions on a regular basis
– Develop tactical understanding
